ABOUT CLARA

The voice behind the voice.

I was cast as the lead in a radio play at 19, panicked completely, and immediately knew I’d spend my life doing this.

Twelve years later I’ve voiced national commercials, narrated audiobooks for Penguin and Audible, played a video game protagonist (hi, Mira), and lent my Spanish accent to campaigns that have aired across Latin America and Spain.

I grew up in East LA, speak native English and fluent Castilian Spanish, and trained with the William Esper Studio and Kalmenson & Kalmenson. My approach to a read is the same whether it’s a 30-second spot or a 12-hour audiobook: listen to what the text is actually asking for, then trust it.

My home studio has everything a remote session needs. My dog occasionally provides unscripted background content.

WHAT DIRECTORS SAY

From the booth.

Clara can take direction and turn on a dime. I gave her three completely different reads in five minutes and all three were usable. That's rare — most talent needs 10 takes to pivot.

CASTING DIRECTOR, NATIONAL AGENCY (ANONYMIZED)

We hired Clara for an e-learning series of 44 modules. She finished 3 weeks early, her consistency across the entire series was flawless, and she flagged a script error in module 19 that would have cost us a reshoot. Hire her.

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, FORTUNE 500 TECH COMPANY

Mira needed to sound capable and afraid at the same time — for about 60 separate lines across 3 DLC packs. Clara never once let the character slip. Players love her. We're bringing her back.

Yes, for independent film and television. I'm comfortable with picture lock sessions and have worked on multiple features.

I work both. SAG-AFTRA signatory productions receive union rates and terms. Non-union work welcome.
